Claims and disputes, and their associated delays, continue to be a source of risk and significant expense for the construction industry. Keeping abreast of, and understanding, developments in the construction industry is of paramount importance for business and project success.  Clyde & Co’s global projects and construction group, together with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) invite you to an in-depth panel discussion focusing on the imminent introduction of prompt payment and adjudication regulations in terms of an amendment to the Construction Industry Development Board Act No. 38 of 2000.  In particular the seminar will focus on the scope and impact which the proposed new regulations will have on the construction industry in South Africa. Clyde & Co’s South Africa team will be joined by our international team of experts, including representatives from both our UK and Australian offices, who will provide practical insight in both the advantages and pitfalls of adjudication based on their practical experience globally.

Panel of speakers include: Rob Scott (Partner, Johannesburg); Alon Meyerov (Partner, Johannesburg); John Morris (Global head of projects & construction, London); and Glen Warwick (Partner, Perth).
